True, it's luck of the draw with regards to the thief on the day.

De-badging is fine, but I assumed this was about going up the ladder. As mentioned earlier, it does make me think of BMW's. De-badging a 3 Series doesn't make me think "Wow, a 330!" - it's most likely going to be a 316i driven by someone with a complex.
 
My bro-in law works in london and bought a BSO and covered the frame
in black masking tape to make it less desirable to thieves.

I told him the tape probably cost more than the frame....
 
wrong decals

bought this Bigfoot recently off Ebay cant think for the life of me why someone would have put Scott decals on it even to the point of putting them on before the laquer eeeerm ??
