The sprint might be an option, would need to train for the swim though. I shall think on it.

'twas also my first experience of an open water swim in a tri. It was erm... an experience. A brutal experience - be prepared for elbows flying and underwater skulldugerry!

Can I canoe the swim bit? I can swim but only if I can touch the ground or hold on to the side I didn't learn until I was in my twenties.

Triathlon? No way, sorry. No problem with swimming but hate running. Plus I don't have triathlon/road bike.

You can walk the run bit and its an off road triathlon!

Will consider it then Now I'm bit grumpy as lying in bed and have bad flu. Thinking about cold water makes me even more ill.
