The British bike thread

My Claud Butler Ernest Chambers designed track bicycle. 4 years ago I rode this on a motorplex 12 hour time trial. Seven PM to 7 AM. The seat brace was missing but you could see where there was one. The stain from it is visible right behind where the new faux one is. I replaced it with a homemade one. I put on an old Universal front brake as it was scary on the fast downhills. The Universal had the right drop. It’s so much better to ride since I added this brake. The fork was already drilled for the brake. 63788758046__7AB1E810-5441-4F6E-860B-69708BC2B795.jpeg IMG_2553.jpeg 63753898195__FB5930E8-045C-4795-A3ED-592DAB0BCAFD.jpeg IMG_0647.jpeg

Yes 90s should have aero brake levers. I think a cheaper version of my R200 with raked forks. If it's anything like that it will be a nice ride. Not super light but lively enough.
I remember my parents buying me a bike for passing my 11plus( nobody was more surprised than me). It was a single speed red Raleigh, they couldn’t afford gears. Haven’t a clue what model it was just remember it was red. Eventually I painted it black and put some cow horn bars on it.
