On a serious note, two stand-out 70s theme tunes for me; Laurie Johnson's score for The Professionals (possibly the best thing about the whole series; credits sequence here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCit5ApWeIE), and Johnny Pearson's "Heavy Action" from Superstars (soundtrack to a thousand Keegan-falling-off-bike clips).
