I'm confused, I thought American Eagle were a US clothing chain like GAP, Holister, Ambercrummy etc, do they sponsor a cycling team or do they manufacture cycles as well?

Well, maybe it is a clothing brand as well. Elev12k already mentioned that Rentmeester (or Veltec) distributed the mountainbike brand, they used the name Concorde for the road bikes. Ultima Bikewear was their own clothing brand, they also made the team wear.
Veltec-Rentmeester was one of the biggest Dutch distributors of sport bikes and parts, they had brands like Cervelo, Intense, Willier, Ultima, Sidi, American Classic, Cyclefit, Cycleops, Profile, ROTOR, Sinz en THE.
Unfortunately Veltec Benelux BV went bankrupt a year ago.
