The 2003 Dean colonel that is actually an Epic Synergy Ti

Decals

Hi all

I've been messing around with decal colours today, my bulbs are burning out of their sockets lol :D

Let me know what you think of the colour combination.

Looks a nice frame, I'd try and get hold of some Epic decals. Or if you can't get someone to make some. I prefer the Epics decals over the Everti and Deans (why the eck did Dean change their logo from D E A N?) and if thats what you've got go for it!. Have you emailed Everti to see if they have a ny spare?

Decals

I mailed Everti and they don't or won't (because of silly Specialised) sell me any Epic decals.

I like the white Everti decals I have seen on the web but, they would be better as Epic.

The phoenix looks cool for the headtube badge, but again it would be nice to have Epic written over the top

Re: The 2003 Dean colonel that is actually an Epic Synergy T

sorry to drag out such an old thread but i'm thinking of buying one of these I've located... an epic synergy ti. these must be rare as i'm not seeing much on google when searching "epic synergy ti"!

do you have any pictures of the bike built up? the one i'm looking at has three or four spacers at the top of the head tube to raise the stem up? is this just to mimic a more modern upright riding style of more modern frames?

Re: The 2003 Dean colonel that is actually an Epic Synergy T

The amount of spacers under the stem is to adjust the height of the stem so that it is comfortable for the rider and thus is a totally personal thing as opposed to being for a particular riding style. Be aware that too many spacers can be bad joojoo though as it looks completely naff. Seriously though I remember reading a headset instruction manual one time and I'm sure the max was 30mm of spacers. This could vary headset to headset of course as I can't remember which one i was reading. Congrats on a nice frame though. I do remember perving over these Epic/Everti frames as few years ago.
