That time of year again... cyclone season.

depends where the orginal winds are coming from?

i havent actually looked at wind directions but surely it would be a resultant direction?
 
Well I’m off to an evacuation centre, if my house is reasonably intact when I get back I’m make sure I pot some karma part up. We are now looking at a Cat 5 cyclone.
 
Best of luck to all those very soon to be affected. Praying for minimal loss of life. I know the trees & houses won't stand a chance. To put this into perspective, this storm is larger than Hurricane Katrina. Cyclones form over water, so when they cross onto land, it will bring a 20' tidal wave with it, and if that and the 300Kph winds aren't enough fun, expect about 3 foot of rainfall as well. So glad to be be in Melbourne right now!
