Amazing find! What a fascinating frame. Look forward to seeing more of this. And looking forward to some stories from your dad regarding this fantastic machine. Just don't mention to him that his daughter chucked the wheels out!!!

100% keep the paint, Patina is perfection and original paint is only original once. @Guinessisgoodforyou has already given you good cleaning tips. He's managed to clean a couple of bikes in his time.

@Chutney1967 : congrats on the bike! Should clean up very nicely. +1 to what the others said: start with a gentle clean with soapy water and then re-assess before taking next steps.
