Terry Dolan Restoration

Retro Newbie
hello all, i'm after some information...

i've managed to get my hands on a Terry Dolan steel road frame with original forks which i'm going to restore / rebuild. however, i don't have any information about the bike as it is...

can anybody tell me what year this bike was made, the name / model of this particular frame (if indeed it has a name) and possibly the spec / groupset that would have been used on this bike?

i have emailed the manufacturer direct but i haven't had an answer (its been at least a year now since i sent pictures to them)...

i know this maybe a long shot but any information would be greatly appreciated.

thanks...

Can't see the pic well on my PC but it's unusual to have a race frame with a lamp boss on the forks, pump bosses and mudguard eyes.........

i also thought it was unusual shaun... i'm assuming that Dolan made touring frames / bikes as well (that could possibly explain the lamp boss, pump bosses and mudguard eyes). it's still a mystery to me.

the picture isn't the best, apologies

Cable eyes, pump pegs, lamp bracket etc. Quite possibly not one of Terry's which is possibly why he hasn't replied.

thanks guys...

there are only 2 cable guides on the chain stay and the seat stay (on the drive side of the bike). a friend of mine suggested that the frame may have been off-the-shelf rather than a custom job and used by someone as a winter bike. although the the forks were sold to me with the frame as being made by terry i suspect they aren't made by terry at all (just the frame).

i will email terry again (with some better quality pictures) and i will see if i get a response. i will keep you posted...

thanks again.
