I do like a side entry washing basket.
That's so the cat can get in easily onto the pile of nice warm stuff from the dryer (I would imagine).
I was just admiring the bobbly floor.

Never noticed any of that ..... you guys must have been wicked at Screentest as kids back in the late 70’s early 80’s ?

Re:

Here's my full Mavic equiped bike. Rear derailleur comes from road but seatpost, headset, crankset front derailleur and shifters are mtb groupo and made by Simplex. The wheels are ParisGaoDakar. Mavic begun to built Mtb wheelset since 1984

And gaffa tape secured tumble dryer... watch out for flame grilled hotpoints tho

And Ha... it came with the house 16 years ago like that and haven't needed to touch it since. Still works but probably costs 30 quid a minute to run. :o

If I could get it back on topic for a minute.. (my washing basket is from Ikea btw, it's very good and made from that flexible plastic that builders' buckets are made from)

I always thought it a shame that Mavic never got the respect that they deserved. Their headsets and wheels have always been highly regarded but anything to do with changing gear didn't get any kudos. Does anyone know why? I've never used their gear shifters so I'm in no place to comment, but the stuff always looked beautiful, especially the chainset.

Re:

Always loved Mavic from my Vitus days but the full groupo was v rare on MTBs back then. Think i only saw 2/3bikes ever fully specced but we used their bombproof BBs and headsets all the time.
