Took delivery of the new home for my Mavic collection this week.... Am building as a Mid-late 80s aero-brake lever modded bike with clipless pedals.

And if a few sneak previews are what it takes to help people look in their spares boxes for the missing links - then so much the better!

Chainset bought over 2 transactions on retrobike.

Have had this rear mech longer than Retrobike has existed. And the Time pedals since the early 90s!

Wheels are the spare clincher wheels for my Gios. Mavic hubs/rims needed!

Yes no brakes! Anyone? Anyone? Please?......

You don't need brakes just ride on long flat straight road with no turnings. Some of those in the fens.

dbmtb - I'm also about to do a Mavic build - I've got all of the above and also a Mavic headset! 8) I'll be putting it all on a 531 Urago. Have a look on www.leboncoin.fr and try a "Mavic" search. Only problem might be it's a local site for local people (well, French anyway) so if there's a language barrier they might not want the hassle.

I have some spare wheels which have MA40 rims. I think they are on Mavic hubs. I've been keeping them for another project but I don't really mind selling them as it would be good to see them used in another "tout Mavic" build. Are they any good to you? I'm away at the moment but home Friday so could confirm then if you're interested.
