Team Peugeot finished !

After an age trying to find out what the original Team Peugeot bikes were equipped with I thought stuff it ! It is an actual Team issue frame and I have built it up with Campagnolo Super Record. Maybe not a purist option but I am pleased with the results. The Peugeot Aneto was a copy of this team bike/frame.Differences between the genuine frame and an Aneto - 1 x set of braze on water bottle mounts , clamp on seat tube post for a seat bolt not fast back stays,Full chrome rear stays - not semi painted , no frame number and Reynolds transfer on top of the seat tube and not the down tube.Cannot decide whether to keep it or sell it as cannot get out on it much - despite wanting one since the eighties ! Hope you like the photo :)

I love that! 8)

Would be a shame not to see it ridden though, especially after you've put so much work into it

That is definitely one beautiful Peugeot, shame if you're not getting to ride it.
Lovely build though, well done.

I think the bb on the Peugeots I had were English threaded. My first proper road bikes, in 1990. 8)

I know what you mean Clive. BTW, I have worn away the shiny yellow finish on those tyres you gave me!
