TDF 2016

I'd be ok if they just neutralized the whole stage regarding GC standings. But giving Froome same time as Mollema is very questionable considering he actually did abandon his bicycle.

A strong ride from Dumoulin to take his 2nd stage win and Froome putting more time in to the GC. Yates did well to hold on to 3rd place considering TTs aren't his forty and really impressed with Mollema to jump to 2nd overall. Quintana seems to be going backwards

It is such a shame for the TDF to be over shadowed by yesterdays tragic events in Nice I praise the strength and fortitude of the organisers to go ahead with todays stage it sends a clear message that terrorism will not and cannot stop our way of life

What a complete farce, everyone was being very polite, but from the still they showed on TV and which I have seen elsewhere on the net, the root cause was the FOUR photo motorcycles stopped nose to tail, trying to get a good shot of the three man group.

I suspect that the bikes had to stop to avoid running somebody over and the photographers merely seized their chance. Probably it was all made worse by the crowds being concentrated more densely due to the shortened course.

Good old Cav

Listening to his post race interview, he said he hadn't done any mountains training this year. May be that's been compromising his sprinting over the last 2 or 3 years. Or maybe its about how he feels in the teams he rides for. He felt really happy at HTC and now again

Nah Alaphilippe had a mechanical this time round he must of road out of his skin to make up 1m40s on the leaders either that or he learn't how to fly from that crash.

Great racing from the Breakaway with Pantano getting the better of Majka in the last 200 meters for the win.

The GC has become boring with no proper attacks Bardet and Valverde gave it a go but it was soon shut down hope to see some better action in the Alps as its needs some spice and someone to challenge Froome
