Come on now, you have to take this restoration seriously,

It might be old and tatty but then doesn't that sum up what most folk think of "pre millennial" rigs when dumping them on the bay without seeing the diamond in the ruff hidden within.

I think you should keep it period and go with the original colour that can be seen coming back through, can you get a flake colour chipped and track down the right shade.

Make sure you take your time and do it justice.

I think it a bit tongue in cheek from Mr Onstare, saying to bin something 'cos it's old.

Does he not know this is a site for retrofolk, who lovingly restore old stuff? He's always outing old Konas on eBay.

Why not just ' replace ' them with new ?
