Thx Yetinut. Sorry for the delay in responding ; I was away for the holiday. I'm having my 1989 Titan 1/2 Trac stripped and re-painted and won't know if your 195mm steerer is adequate for a replacement. My replacement NOS XTR Headseat has a stack height of 43mm but my Titan fork only has 40mm so I am looking for either 1) a NOS short stack HS (not happening), 2) a replacement fork (yours), or 2) lengthening my Titan fork. I won't have answers to the questions of adequate steerer length and fork lengthening until the shop tech is back on Thursday. Thx for being patient

Sorry for the long delay in following-up I just heard back from the frame restoration shop and have learned that your fork steerer length is too short.
