Tandem parts

Oh, and your cranks -- if they're both left-hand cranks then you have most of the unique bits of a tandem transmission. You'll need a normal drive-side crank for the rear right and a spiderless arm with a right-hand pedal thread for front right. With any luck your frame will have English-threaded bottom bracket shells, otherwise finding ISIS BBs could be a challenge :)
 
sjs cycles who also make the thorn range of bikes still make tandems and often sell off stuff tandem specific at a fair price. Might be worth looking at their website
 
Here's a couple of pics of my tandem (actually belongs to Gary Fisher, but it's been on an extended, multi-year loan now) :D I'm gonna ride it this afternoon!
