How id you go about polishing up the crank, especially getting the old anodising/powder coat or whatever it is off?

what he said about the brake hoses! i do miss my tanasi. very bold move stripping a new style xtr crank. have you had it coated? i loved mine when i did it to a 960 crank but it buggered up so quickly so went with silver powder coat in the end. everywhere i tried said clear coat would not stay on polished alli` which was a shame. and put me out of my misery and tell me what that back tyre is please.

The hoses are original length incase i sell the brakes, very hard to find the pink hopes, and mine are still in 'as new' condition...
Keeping the cranks shiny is fine, just a rub of the trusty autosol and a wipe with the oily rag..
Rear tyre was a Schwalbe super moto..

aha i never thought of that with the hoses. good idea as its something to always keep in mind is the sell on side of bike bits. MMmmm shiny shiny autosol!!
