Karma Taken: 1980 Raleigh Record Ace free to a good home

Actually, while we are on the subject I am interested in acquiring a Recod Ace silimlar to the above. I would need the the 22 ½ or the 23½ ” version. I can’t find any geometry information, other than the seat tube lengths which I assume are centre to top. Can anyone advise what the top tube lengths the above sizes will be? Ta.

This bike is the 22 1/2" (57cm) version - the top tube is 56.5cm centre-to-centre.

If you're interested in buying this bike (as mentioned, all money goes to charity), feel free to post on here and I can message you.

Glad you got it mate 😁

Thanks – I just about have shed space for it, temporarily! I'm not going to do a full period restoration (sadly it doesn't have the original rear wheel, for starters), but I will put the original bits that are included with it back on, plus sort out some of the rust issues in places, and the usual fettling. I'll update on here when it's done.

Somehow I've got another Raleigh in the queue ahead of it first, anyway 🤫
