I bought this for an Orange P7 project which has now left the fold, so no longer need this.
It's in pretty tidy condition and is an early one I believe with the logo only on the rear of the post rather than on both sides (and very clean this is too), and the older style seat clamp arrangement. I only took it out of the packaging yesterday to take pics.
It looks as though it was in a steel frame at some point, as there is some rust coloured discolouration towards the bottom of the post. That said, it is plenty long at 425mm, so will be hidden unless you run a lot of exposed post. It may wash off, I've not tried as I only opened the package I got it in yesterday. Pics include tape measure so you can see length and also how much of the post has the discolouration.
