one every 15 minutes?

No, over priced compared to what they cost when we were kids

as can be said for most everything.
I like to think how much would I pay for a similarly build crankset today, from a smaller bike/parts builder. Probably around $375 to $500, with a lengthly wait period.

So $500 for brand new tubular steel cranks, with the added bonus of being period correct for a vintage build, isn't all that horrible.

But I know people pride themselves on getting things for a lot less than they are worth, so yeah, these are pricey from that perspective.

Same thing crossed my mind when I was looking at a set of bullseye; at a couple hundred I thought 'that's a lot', now compare to a set of Sram xx cranks. The great thing is I now have a great way of justifying so many things now!

Without this type of rationalization, I wouldn't be able, in good conscious, to buy half the things I've bought for my builds over the years.
