Syncros Hardcore seatpost aluminium in silver finish?

I just won an auction in Ebay. It is in fact aluminium, but in silver finish. Could it be a old black one polished?
was there some silver edition?

Silver ones polish up a lot easier than black ones! Replacement decals are available. I think @fguki on here does them but I think he sells on ebay too from Germany
