I have to confess my ignorance, is the second gen visually similar to the older ones? Or is it the modern style with a disc mount?

1st gen. is cylindrical with the flutes like in the ad you posted. 2nd gen. is conical. The one I have is new. It has some wear on the logos from sitting in a bin with other hubs. I'm in Brampton during the day on weekdays.

Just remembered I have another used one built up on a 517.

The add is incorrect. The aluminium was the HardCore Series
and the ProSeries had the Magnesium hubshell. FYI

Hi FMJ

Very interested in either the bare hub or the built wheel. I'll be at Ford Oakville during the day and into later in the afternoon Thursday, staying overnight, more than likely at the Homewood. I may need to hit the plant for a few minutes Friday morning, then I'm heading for Ford Buffalo. I'll PM you my cell and email, I keep my Blackberry handy most of the time, so I'm pretty easy to track down.
