Retro Newbie
We are a bicycle recycling project that has been given a Crescent bicycle and are trying to find out more about it, approx age and has it been changed. The ones we can find all have road bars but our doesn't. Can anyone give us more information? Thanks Chris http://www.cycle-re-cycle.org.uk

Crescent were a Swedish company who in the mid to late 60's produced Out Board motors I think they also either madeparts for or complete "Leccy"sewing machines so time in the 70's they were swallowed up by Electrolux & some OB motors appeared badged Volvo Penta Further down the line they were absorbed into the Huskvarna conglomerate I would guess ( Don't know) they would have out sourced the bike manufacture & badged Crescent

Thanks for that, looks like more research needed. Enjoy the weekend. Chris

Re:

I remember that, as amateurs, the Petersen brothers, from the 1970s, rode Crescent bikes ( well they had Crescent transfers on !).
