SWAPPED/GONE - Klein Pinnacle Elite F&F & MC1

Hi Ian!

If magicmastertea wants to buy the mc1, I'd probably take the frame+fork depending on the size of the toptube, the fronttube, the fork height (395mm?) and the price, of course! :wink:

I'm 6 inch tall but unfortunately I need a short top tube, because my arms seem to be too short for my longer legs and the bar should come a little bit higher than at a bridgestone-bike for my oppressed back...

Best wishes, Christoph

Addition: I've a wonderful XT 735 crankset with silver chainrings and 175 mm length (nearly NOS), a 735 rear and front mech (also great condition), which I'd like to swap to reduce the price of the f+f 8)

:shock: :shock: :shock:

I have to say that I think the Klein frame will definately be too big for someone as vertically challended as you :lol:

maybe this would be better for you:

cool... im keen depending on price etc... pm me with a price if you want to split. :)

I'd be happy to split as long as I wasn't left with odd bits of Klein lying around, as if I had the space, I would keep it, I just simply don't.

Mc1 is uncut to my knowledge, but will post up measurements later to confirm.

Stoppi, happy to have a chat about the frame and forks, and whilst I'd not thought about swapping for the parted you've suggested, it has given me an idea, so would be happy to negotiate a swap.

Not sure what postage costs are like to Austria, the quote I got to Denmark ranged f rom around £40 to £160 depending on the service used, but I'd obviously work with you to make it as affordable as I could.

I'll drop you a pm later, but feel free to get in touch with your thoughts on a swap.

what length is the mc1 ?
how wide is the mc1 ? uncut or not ?
would you sell the mc1 seperately ?

if its not to long and uncut... and you would split then id be keen.
allthough i realise you would probably want to sell as a package.. thought id ask anyway. :)
cheers
MC1 is definitely uncut,, even has a machined groove just before the very end at each side. Measured up and they are 580mm wide.

Mea culpa!

Oh my goodness, what happened to me to mix inch with feet (maybe I thought about my newtonian telescope :roll: )

So, I'm not a member of liliput, I'm 6 feet tall and so I hope, the yellow Klein would suit me and not the nice GREEN one :wink: (great idea, prometheus)

Today I assembled the XT-chrankset and other XT-parts at my stumpjumper to get the Suntour XC pro parts off for sell or swap.

So Ian, I could offer following parts for a swap:

* Suntour XC pro MD 7 speed wheelset with MD crank 11-24 and blue anodized rims and wheelsmith spokes
* Suntour XC pro MD crankset, 175 mm
* Suntour XC pro MD front and rear mech
* Suntour XCD brake lever
* Shimano Deore 7-speed thumbies

The suntour parts are in a very good condition, the thumbies look used but the function is perfect.

Ian, if you don't need anything, I'm going to sell them here on retrobike and on a german forum to have enough money for the Klein f+f! :)

So the worst case is, that it would take 1-2 weeks, until my parts are sold. But don't worry, I'll offer :) them for a fair price and I'm already fixated on the KLEIN 8)

So, magicmistertea and I would be happy if you'd split it.
I'd say 150 pounds for the MC1 and 75 pounds for the f+f :wink: :roll: :wink:

Concerning a cheap shipping: on parcels2go are excellent offers for very cheap international postage

Best wishes, stoppi
