A long shot I know - but anyone fancy swapping their (preferably NOS) SILVER Proshift mech for my black one? It was bought new bitd and includes instruction leaflet and receipt.
Here we go, from the Privateer shoot - note the dust!
Its got a few miles on it, maybe 50, Its very clean but not perfect and new to my picky, critical eye. First I burred the outer bit of the pivot bolt, only the very outer so the bolt hole is still firm:
Second there is a burr on the rear of the arm that I could have filed down but haven't ever got round too:
Totally understand if its not up to scratch but it is sharp, clean and almost unused - dont even think the pulleys spin freely yet!
Thank's for the reply and pic's. - We've been here before Pete, about 3 years ago!
To be honest I was looking for a NOS one really, as it's not gonna be used and is going in the collection.
'tis tempting though....let me have a think about it if I may please chap.
I've heard when set up well, they work well, though I've heard stories of them not shifting as perfectly as the price may reflect. The NOS silver is going on an all NOS Moho as I understand it, and the black one would still be used. I'm not sure if Ferrus will ever get the MOHO out on the trail should he finish it (assuming Ferrus is a dude) - which I hope he would (both)
