Testing the water with this one. I've just picked up my friends 2010 Rockshox Revolutions in white with 150mm travel + 20mm bolt through as he's gone all 29er. I need a set of forks for my 2007 Clockwork so snapped these up as he's had them from new and I know their history.

The Clockwork can only take up to 130mm travel so I'd planned to get the Rev's reduced and probably still will. Saying that, if someone want's to swap their 120 or 130mm forks for a set of 150mm ones we could have a deal as it'd save me buggering about with spacers.

I'd consider quite a range of forks (RS, Fox, DT, Pace etc) but they obviously need to be of similar quality so no offers for your Tora's or Suntour please! I'd like another set of white forks and it'd be easier if you were quite local to me so we could meet up to inspect but others will be considered. :D

I have u turn on mine but have been tempted to trade it for a non u turn cart as its always out fully.
I wonder if it would be simple?

I'd get the spacers in them. Or you could run them with 20 or more PSI more in the negative spring than the positive to suck them down a bit?

Don't really want to swap for the same with u-turn as I may as well keep the one's I've got. Will more the likely keep them and sort the spacers but thought I'd see if anyone fancied a trade.

I looked into this when the u turn cart in my 2010 revs blew up (quite common apparently that's why rs dropped it ) but was advised that I could only fit a coil spring instead as the inside surface of the air stanction on u turn forks isn't honed so it ain't smooth enough to form a good seal.

Oh who told you that? I thought it would have been the same really. I dont know the innards well though. My cart has just been replaced due to leaking.
But now im confused, chainging from a u turn dual air cart to just a dual air cart wouldnt pose a problem i would have thought?
