Swap? Mongoose amplifier for....

Ok, I've had the amplifier nearly three years now and not quite finished it so thinking of moving it on. I've tried many times to decide to sell it and always bailed, so maybe a swap could tempt me?

The frame and fork are in mint condition having been powder coated black after I got it. Both front and rear shock have been serviced and unused since. New decals from Gil, I paid extra for a higher quality print and have two spare sets should they be needed. Spare bushings aplenty too.

Package would include frame, fork (early amp steel), mavic threaded headset, control tech stem, original seat post clamp and amp rear stay brace. I could be persuaded to include the controltech seat post and bars (black) too, potentially the m900 kit fitted (front and rear mechs, stis) as well as the onza brakes and flite saddle. Not sure I want to part with the wheels (m900 and mavic sunsets) but who knows, depends on what's offered.

So what am I after? Not really sure, but I'm looking for a frame to fit a kids seat too, so perhaps one with rack mounts? Other than that I'm open to suggestions so if you fancy a classic retro full susser built around the legendary Horst link/amp design, with the sexy dual down tubes and have something interesting to swap it for, let me know.

Pics up just for you. No cranks - I sold them a while back but it was wearing some cooks e-cranks. Was going to put on some silver carambas I have stashed away (not double barrels, I forget the name of them for now) or some nos race face ones. I still might as the bike is lovely as the pics show, perhaps I should just finish the build????

:shock: OMG, the build specs is so close to mine. black frame, CT stem/seatpost in black, CT bar in silver, sunset rims. but I went with XT M737/739 kit, F2 fork and Avid SD Ult levers (black now, not silver as pictured) w/ CT canti brakes

Ian, have you even ridden the bike? Finish it off and give it a go before making the decision! I love how it rides now that I have it set up the way I want it.

Nope, never ridden it Maybe I should finish it off. Been missing the washers for the rear shock/frame mounts and time really.

Ian, I think if you finish it off and have a ride on it, you'll prob think it's a keeper. At least it is for me.
