Swap - Mavic Heliums

Anyone up for a swap of some great condition Helium’s Shimano 9/10/11 for Campagnolo 9/10/11’s?

Would prefer Helium’s as for a Look KG243, so helium’s are correct era and also anodised red!!

Re:

I dont believe the freehub body for a helium was ever available as campagnolo. Going in to the era they tended to do shimano, their own freehub spline or a mavic cassette sold with spacers for either or. Your only option is to run an appropriately spaced cassette.

Re:

Ideally I’d keep them. I had a search to see if they could be converted. Any idea what I would need to do? Thanks for the reply

it depends on what shifters/number of speeds you intend to use The campagnolo 9 speed era is probably the most awkward . You can get campagnolo spaced cassettes for shimano by ambrosio for example if going 10 speed but that isnt period correct for that bike. Or you could try and find one of the mavic cassettes which came with two sets of spacers. Or you have to mod a cassette yourself- easier if you have lots of old spares admittedly.A campag 8 speed block has similar spacing to shimano 7 but you would lose a gear- so then you use thinner sprockets off a 9 etc it all gets a bit mad. One issue is Campagnolo spacing is not the same throughout the cassette in some instances. I have in the past taken sheets of sandpaper to plastic spacers to get them just right. I would say its always going to be a # up so the best option is sell the wheels and buy something suitable and equally nice.

I've 2 pairs -both Shimano cassette ..& can't recall them having a Campagnolo option....good wheels though & adaptably excellent for hilly TT's & cyclocross with big tubulars !

Typically they are 9 speed!!

So I guess I am looking to swap for some 9 Campags from that era!

Thanks for the advice
