swap 98ish avalance 18inch f/f

If this is a GT 18", then that's 18" BB centre to toptube centre, and 20" BB centre to top of seat tube (I was recently educated on another thread ) - is that correct? Do you have any price in mind if I can't find a nice enough mech

hmmm, needing a winter bike after getting rather upset over recent days with just how muddy and wet my shiny bikes have been getting, also not happy about having to leave my bike outside the caravan in sea air with three out of four days having heavy rain and watching the rust form. so im looking for a bike i dont need to worry about,and this may be just the ticket

I have a brand new LX rear mech rapid rise, though modern!! if its of any interest, also a good condition 8 speed alivio i think

I also have a brand new LX shimano chain which i took a few too many links off, but have all the links to rejoin come to think of it, also a virtually brand new chain with one link twisted which again is salvagable,

the frame is 7005 matey not 100% on year ...i would prefer to swap for parts cheers

Integrated seat clamp Avalanches were '98 but they were also 6061..

Unless there was a later Avalanche with integrated clamp in 7075. . .

And that's just if anyone cares
