I finally thought I'd cracked it and sourced a set of minty black middleburn cranks. Sadly they are 170mm arms not 175mm as advertised/required so wondering if anyone has a set in 175mm they would trade?
If not middleburn, I'd entertain other brands as long as they are black. Modern or retro considered but need to be equivalent quality and condition. I had planned to use these on a Brit based build, hence middleburn, but I have other builds I could swap cranks over from, so will consider others.
Mine are black, square taper and in excellent almost unmarked condition (a couple of tiny marks, no heel rub or anything else really). Various spider options available.
