Yep, I failed. I turned up but didn't last long at all :( Too hot for me, so I went and had a carvery instead. Here's a piccy >>>

You didn't need that carvery Tim! I could really go it now though.
Good hot, dusty ride, plenty of blood from the gorse, brambles, holly etc but no crashes, no mechanicals, not even a pinch flat on those skinny 1.8's.
Shame there weren't more of us but maybe next time.
Bikes from left: '89 Saracen Trekker, '02 Airborne Lancaster (bit modern, sorry), Bonty Privateer & a couple of Klein Pulses.
Good luck on 24/12 to those competing.
