Suspension Forks for Alpinestars

For my future ref, can anyone recommend some suspension forks for my Cro-Mega, I'm gonna run it fully rigidfor now, but am considering changing the forks?? (only maybe!) but does the 1-1/4 headset cause a few problems??

Always think they look well with Manitou 2/3/4 etc.

Are Manitou easy to get hold of??

Yep, they often turn up. Is the head tube 1 1/4? If so that will be your biggest problem.

Yep! It's 1-1/4" and it's caused me no end of problems!!!! Headset had to be fully refurbished and new bearings fitted in the cage! Then I found a headset on eBay (didn't buy it though!) and then I found Retro Bike! A wealth of info and a cure to some dilemmas

Should be able to buy headset reducers really easily. As 1 1.4 is now modern sizing again, should be simple enough.

Then you can have a field day with choices.
