Hello,
I have an old '97 P7 RS, although quite a few years back the yellow rockshox gave way and I was fortunetly that orange still had some of the standard rigid forks hanging around in the factory.
Stupidly I sold on the rockshoxs (as I am sure I could have serviced them, but at the time the bike was commute perpose only) but now I am considering putting some springs back on for a bit of comfort. I also find the geometry with the rigids not quite right.
So what options are there available new (or good second hand) for 1 inch steerers? Seen the Marzocchi ETA onces which look alright but would need v-brake bosses. Wonder whether most forks the travel would be too long for the original 60mm P7?
Considered getting a new bike, but not sure I could live with anything but a steel hardtail!
Cheers
Greg
