super rare Hanebrink

Re:

Its a hanebrink fork, never seen one in the flesh but if I remember rightly the wheel is held in line by keyed nylon strips, similar in function to a USE suspension seat post. I may be talking shite though, I forget things.

Could it be a "94 Hanebrink Pro-Gram bike? The rear seat tube junction looks a little different, but who knows how many versions he made, maybe a prototype? The fork is defo a Hanebrink fork. Air-sprung, no damping.(a little sketchy but that's the charm of some old bikes)
I am in the LA area, I'll try to give the seller a ring to see what size it is.
futuristicoldman I could help you out getting the bike.

Re:

Oooh that would be splendid if it were possible. I have always had an unexplainable desire to own a Hanebrink. Has anybody ever looked his modern electric bike(isn) things? They look like a huge amount of fun.

So I talked to the owner, asked about the size. He doesn't know anything about bike sizing, but he said he's 5'11" and it fits him so I guess it's a medium of sorts. Is it a size that would work for you? The bike is still available. I'm not sure how expensive shipping is going to be from the States, also tough to make out what components are on the frame but if it's a genuine Hanebrink Pro-Gram it might be well worth it. Definitely not my my size.

Actually was on my way to pick this bike up today when I was called off by the owner. Said a family member claimed it last minute. Was curious did you one of you guys get it? Hope it went to a good home.
