Hi, what year roughly are these? Will the thumbies do 3x8 indexed with a Shimano rear mech? Sorry so many questions - don’t know much about Suntour stuff..

Hi, yes suntour and Shimano are interchangeable no problem and 3x8 should be perfectly do-able. Date wise you're looking between 89 & 93 but more than happy for someone else to confirm.
