cycled to work today and had the satisfaction of overtaking a roadie on his finest carbon while on my MTB-cum-700c with saddlebag on the back wearing me baggies

First ride out today in a lonnnnnng time ... by the 3rd hill I was on my boot straps !!!

I am glad it's getting lighter in the mornings as have to put the horses first but fed up of breaking the ice on the water troughs !!!!!

Cold ride today in a group with 6 punctures and a nice NE wind to cool us down - reminded me that still a long way before the good weather arrives.

4 rides in two weeks all be it short ones, 3 on the CB and one on the Kona.

Last two were in the sunshine but damn it was cold.

Wifey came out on Sunday on the updated Trek 800, was very pleased with her new saddle (WTB Speed She £10 bargain from CRC) and STX-SE/Bonty wheels with IRC Mythos tyres, she said it was more comfortable and inspired confidence, £45 well spent if it gets her out more.
