Kinda fancied this, but then I noticed what looked like shill bidding, and I don't like that.
Anyway, surprise surprise...I have a 2nd chance offer at £300.
Seems good value and I thought it might be a nice 2nd bike

Shill bidding is the scourge of ebay just now, tell the seller how you feel and offer him £280

I hate it when thebidding history hides punter IDs. I reckon you would have got it for a lot less without the dodgy bidding. It looks like your bid of £300 was matched, and the they tried to get you to up it abit. If all those bids are from the same person, you should have got it for a LOT less .
I would pass. Nice bike, but a tad heavy, and with unreliable forks.

in terms of market value £250 is propably the max I would pay for that .

but if you are going to ride it , it is worth £300 .

I reckon it's worth £250-£300 depends how much you want it. Looks in bloody good condition. You're not going to see another one in that condition for a while - if ever.

i'd pay it for that if i had the cash and wanted a new bike.

it is the annoyance of shill bidding that it has forced you to pay top whack. but at least it hasnt forced you to pay more than you wanted.

if you collect i would be very critical and make sure everything is totally as described especially if you think there is foul play.

possibly think about doing you both a favour and doing the deal out of ebay. £275 or something.
