Sunn Dix '93

This frame was part of a limited edition of 500 bikes that were built in 1993 by Sunn, in Tange Ultimate Superlite. The frame weighs 1.7kg.

It was to celebrate the company's tenth birthday ("Dix" = ten), the bike (fully rigid) weighted 10kg, and retailed for 10,000f. The bike was kitted with XT/LX components, and Sunn's own "Brute" brand components.

I bought the bike second-hand around 96 and since the frame has been used as my main mtb, then as a commuter, a singlespeed, a wall decoration, and recently a retro build, using bits I had collected over the years and wasn't using. Since then I took it apart (lack of space, new project) and it is back on the wall.

very lovely, great frame, perfect setup. 1,7 kg for a steel frame :shock:
what was the total weight in the setup with them AMP fork ?
size 40 :? should fit me
