Sugino 5 bolt 94 BCD 42T 32T & 58 BCD 20T or alternatives!

Hi, bit of a novice to things, so please bear with me. My beloved Sintesi Thruster is well due an upgrade to the gears, huge chain stretch so looking to replace cassette, chainrings and chain. Currently running a 8 speed XT cassette and sugino chainset with 175 94/58BCD crank arms 42 32 20 chainrings. Looking for new or nearly new stuff, don't really want to replace my worn out gears with some more worn out ones!

The 5 bolt stuff seems a bit rare these days, so would changing crank arms make things easier? Advice much appreciated.

The granny ring is steel and unlikely to be worn seriously. Spa Cycles have a full range from Stronglight and TA.
I also have a tidy 42T silver brushed Suntour one you can have for £8 posted.

Got a black steel Sugino 42 outer ring, silver steel Sugino 22T granny ring and possibly steel Shimano 20T granny ring
