Suggestions for Mrs Rekis' birthday present

Mrs Reki hits the big 50 in a couple of weeks (yes, I am a toy boy ). Her main present is a 2 week holiday to Florida in October. As usual, I am really struggling to think of a suitable gift for the day of her birthday. We are going to a posh hotel for the weekend of her birthday so any presents need to be easily concealed in luggage. She doesn't wear jewelry much and flowers and chocs are not really up to the occaision. I have already arranged a Champagne breakfast for the morning of her birthday. She will be sozzled by lunchtime :?

Any thoughts out there in RB land?

Pick a few little things and have them delivered to the hotel, I did this once and aranged to bring a gift out to her every hour or so. I found little bits of makeup etc nice smelling thing etc packaged well did the job. I went into my local boots gave them a budget and they chose a few thing for her and that worked for me.

mmmm......maybe I should leave this list for my OH - he's the one, you may remember, who wrapped up a pot of Swarfega for me on Valentine's day - a hint, I think about the bike grease constantly on my hands.

Having said that I did persuade him to buy a nice pair of shiny blue Sidi Eagles for my birthday - maybe they would suit Mrs Reki as well?

That was so long ago!

I have got her some nice underwear, nothing too skimpy she likes sexy but understated. Some nice perfume and will get some nice choccys and jewelry next week. I am sure she would appreciate an M900 rear mech but she would soon work out it was not for her. She is starting to get an eye for retro bling. Neilll brought a Pace R300 frame round last night and she said it looked very nice and was very light even before I asked her about it.
