STUNT TRIMBLE :)

Don't worry jimmy, with my track record it'll be back on the 'bay in a couple of weeks

Manitou916, any idea of the year? - I'm guessing mid 90s.

Jimmy I've PMd you. Frame hasn't even arrived yet and already I have £ signs floating in front of my eyes  - not good. If Jimmy isn't interested and anyone else is then please get in touch - time to bail before I hit the slippery slope this time I reckon.

It's arrived . . .

. . . and it really is pretty damn nice (OK so I'm just a sucker for fluoro orange  ) - how tempted am I to get a tiny can of fluoro yellow/pink and just roughly spray a fade line along the top tube and inside the rear, er, triangle (hardly sacrilage on a British Eagle?). Seat tube doesn't appear to have been cut down either as was first thought as it still has the original paint under the seat clamp (although I didn't think they made bikes this tiny BITD - I used to have to manage with a 16"er). Surely it can't cost too much to get it back on the trails, can it? Here we go again . . .

Cheers for the update - that looks pretty good built up 8) .

That's great news if the seat tube hasn't been cut down. It should have matching paint on the top edge of the seat tube - probably not if cut. The slot cut at the back of the seat tube should be more obvious if the seat tube had been trimmed.

Yep, paint looks fine and the slot definitely hasn't been extended - all looks spot on. What size seatpost does it take? - I'm guessing 30.9 from my quick measurement (I have an assortment of shims in the toolbox so I'm sure will be able to sort something out).

Yeah, I like it... and the rebuild in my own style will be even better :)

Cool, I never expected my frame to have a baby brother. The seatpost is 30.4mm. Enjoy!

There appears to be a whole family.

And thanks for the offer mamadirt, but I'm gonna say no. It was only gonna be a cheeky bid anyway but like you I've thought more seriously and I don't have the money really either! Would've been cool though.

No worries - having seen it in the flesh I've decided to hang onto it and build it up anyway.

That one doesn't look quite so nice though - looks skinnier somehow - did they do a hi ten version too? Anyway fluoro orange is the new, er, purple
