For Sale Stunning Univega Alpine

Retro Guru
I've spent the last 12 months scratching a Retro bike itch.

Amongst the handful of bikes and parts I have bought, sold and rebuilt I have saved and sourced the best with a 'dream build in mind'.

Some time ago I acquired this stunning Univega frame and decided to make it the base for all the parts I have saved.
However, over the course of the year my Retro bike itch had been scratched but it only felt right to commit to building this one last bike (even though I knew I would never ride it)

So, here it is...

Univega Alpine Uno frame and fork TT54cm (in an obviously super cool 90'd paint job)
Mavic Sup 217 with Shimano LX hubs - in pretty much unused condition. I have also serviced and rebuilt the hubs
Maxxis Crossmark tyres - in pretty much perfect condition
Shimano Deore MT60 chainset. Plolished cranks with black chainrings - in near perfect condition (these took some time to source
Shimano Deore DX front derailleur - in near perfect condition
Shimano Deore DX rear derailleur - in near perfect condition
Sram 7spd chain - brand new
Shimano XT 7spd thumb shifters (I've had to fit an extra long bolt to tighten the rear shifter to the bars as I think some of the threads could be stripped)
Shimano Deore SLR brake levers - in near perfect condition
Shimano XT cantilver brakes - in near perfect condition
Shimano XT brake pad shoes - in near perfect condition
Tektro brake pads - brand new
Shimano straddle cables - new
All new cables, outers and rubber donuts
Period Seatpost (I forget the brand name) - in good condition (matt silver to match the matt silver of the rims)
ITM crumbly de luxe stem - new old stock
Bontranger Satellite bars - new
Period Ergo ring oval grips.
Brooks Saddle - new
XT SPD pedals - good condition
Tange BB - new
Tange headset - new
Bottle cage - near perfect condition
Colour coded Orange earplugs and crimps

As you can imagine this took a lot of time and money to source and build.

Before I think about splitting I'd like to try and sell it as a whole bike.

My original idea was to use it for bike packing but its just too nice to spoil.

£650 plus £30 postage (I have a good bike box)
Or £550 plus £30 postage without the saddle and pedals

I'm happy to take any photos or answer any questions.
thanks
Craig.
