BIN gone... thanks to the sole bidder, who put in a lowball bid of 75UKP.

Thereby removing the BIN option for those of us who would have snapped it up at the BIN price; Risking losing a bargain; All to save a MAXIMUM of 20UKP.

Annoying (IMHO).

But it WAS quite a bargain at the original BIN.
But now the low-ballerhas wiped out the BIN option for others in an attempt to save a measly 20 quid.

So now anyone who wants it will probably pay more, due to the low-balling tactic of "nibbling" away with tiny incremental bids (in the hope of an eventual bargain). Often, such bidders fade away as the price increases anyway, after initially nudging the price upwards or wiping out the BIN option.

Having missed out on a few items in the past by being a cheapskate myself, I'd now tend to jump at a reasonable BIN or get my wallet out and enter my genuine highest bid.

Just a different approach to bidding on things, that's all.

Totally agree, its a mindless thing to do. There was a CK headset a while ago with a BIN of about £30 IIRC. Someone put in a bid at £20 and the BIN dissapeared. People that do this are idiots, fact.

To start I'm not the bidder, but ebay is dog eat dog I'm afraid. You bid what you want and take your chances, if someone has missed the BIN they should have got out of bed earlier.
