This bike is completely original and as it was when bought new, except the grips, i have the barends for it just need to put them on.
Original Sniff and scratch tyres, and original brake blocks and reflectors too.

Lovely looking Kona, that colour, as on 94 Cindercones and 96 Lavadomes I think, has got to be one of my all time favourites!

Trevor.

For those of us admiring this with much interest but ignorance, please would you give some more details of specification and components.

Paul.

Hi Paul, yes it is as it was when it was bought in 1997.

Selle Italia seat
Race-lite seatpost
Race-lite bars
Project 2 forks
Stem as standard not sure what though
Mavic 238 rims
Sniff front tyre
Scratch rear tyre
Curve canti's
STX RC rear mech
STX front mech
Acera X hubs
Not even sure what the crank is, but it looks very shiny and sort of square edged
Gripshift shifters

Sorry i can't be of much help guys, charlieboy originally had this then sold it to Mervin Rider who i bought it off.

Nice one gee 8)

Love the pic with the stone pillars and the metal bridge (?) railings :)

Being from Halifax, the stone work is so familiar :)

Cheers

Cheers, yep its an old metal bridge, we do have millions of them, and the old stone gate posts in Halifax, Im rather suprised farmers have'nt dug them up and sold them to reclimation yards.
