Actually I saw one yesterday on the lad's new GT Chucker... Turns out it was rusty watery grease, dirt & WD40 and not, as I first thought, watered down blended dog shite... White frame as well!

It's a sign that he's just rinsed out the rusty headset bearings with a thin penetrant, then perhaps gone over it with a hair dryer to get that baked-in look.

And he managed not to disturb the spider colony living in the fork crown

No wonder he's up to 80% already.

Oh yes, white background & freshly washed hands are the two best locations for that goo. Getting it to dry like that and not scare the arachnids off is either dedication, or a half-assed job 10 years back. (probably counts as dedication too, dedicated to being a bullshitter)

Think he's probably moved on from school at this point & graduated the university of shitty sellers with honours.
