I just want to say how much i enjoy this comment. My Norco is Prestige, hangs in my garage. My wife has told me she doesn't need to hear its tubes ring another time

Yes! Somewhere in the mists of internet 1.0 I posted some videos of different tube “pings”. Will see if I can find in the archives (lugged Prestige and 1940s Reynolds were the most sonorous).
