Stumpjumper Comp 1992

Retro Guru
Have to raise some cash so it is with regret I need to sell some items.

First off is this (almost complete) Stumpjumper, I believe it have been resprayed but is in good condition all round.

I ran as a 1x7 and used only for towing the Burley on occasions. Picture is of fully built bike but I have used some parts from it so not exactly as pictured, it's missing the chain, left side shifter (works a bit hit and miss but happy to include) and no chainrings, tyres shown not included but can probably fish some out if required.

Includes NOS Specialized stem sent over from Holland and original Turbo saddle, other bits are mixture of Deore, DX, LX.

Looking for £200 but it owes me sustantially more, may split, offers invited.

Thanks for looking.

nice bike- 19 inch? These handle so well.

Is this the stumpy I sold to you years ago Gaz, back on the retrobike roundabout? If so, it must have covered as many miles in transit as it's been ridden :D

Indeed - 19" and yes it is Makster!

Lovely ride.

Brilliant! I bought it from a chap in East Sussex, so it's done a lot of miles between retrobike members.
Lovely frame 8)

Mind me asking how tall you are? I have a 30 inch inside leg (being 1m73) and my first decent bike was a 1989 Rockhopper - I think it was 19" but can't remember. Might be interested in this.

I'm 5'8 which I think is around 173cm

It's perfect for me with the stem and seat post as shown in photo.

Cheers
