Stuck Pedals

stuck as in just "stuck" on with years of muck and probably no grease? or are they crossthreaded?
I find using something like Plusgas oe even WD40 and leaving it to soak in for a while (ie a few hours or overnight), then maybe using a soft jawed vice and a tightly fitting spanner with plenty of leverage usually works.
When I first got the Proflex it had flat pedals on it that were seized on and the above method + plenty of brute force & ignorance worked for me.

Before you torture them with brute force and a blow-torch, you should definitely soak them in PlusGas or a similar penetrating oil first. (WD40 and GT85 aren't nearly as effective as proper penetrating oil by the way)
One they have been well soaked, preferably overnight, then start getting some leverage on them with a decent pedal spanner.
If the aluminium crank threads have corroded, which is likely, leverage alone can easily damage the threads irreparably. The application of some oil should break down some of the corrosion and effectively lubricate the threads as they move, significantly reducing the chances of destroying the crank threads.

time pedal method (use allen key - no flats for pedal spanner). Clamp a good allen key in a vice. remove crank from bike. position pedal on alen key. push down on peda with left hand (with all your weight) then strike end of crank with soft hammer. Works every time.
Have you got a vice? Attached to a really solid bench?
I had similar problems and after blowtorches and penetrating oil had failed miserably I resorted to dismantling the pedal down to the spindle so it could be held firmly in the vice before applying brute force to the crank arm!
I couldn't believe it was stuck on so hard - almost a weld!
