Getting my ribble repainted - decided I really don't like their decals

thinking of going stickerless apart from a tubing sticker, my painter's sticker and maybe my name on the top tube

show me pictures of your undecalled lovelies to help the decision process along....

hi, what does she handle like ? im all for sticker's even if reduced in size and custom font .if a 753 ribble came up cheap enough id nab it.then straight down the lbs for allignment tweaks :)

my 653 ribble? she's brilliant. Springy and fun, although she sometimes gets a bit slappy at big speeds, weighs under 9kg now

a mate of mine had a similar one and he described it as "handles like a track bike for the road"

my other option is to have a designer friend make me up some decals in one of the classic british framebuilder styles, but saying "Ribble"

Got the same issue - recently acquired a 653 Ribble that's been powder coated in egg shell white - lovely frame, paint colour is a bit 'twee' though. Don't like the Ribble decals either, however an undecalled eggshell frame - well that isn't going to work. Contemplating having green panels done for the headtube and some box sections on the down & seat tubes - make it look older than it is.

As for undecalled bikes - I did this one and it gets lots of compliments - viewtopic.php?f=23&t=294123

oh that's lush. I'm looking at flam red at the mo, so I might well be able to pull it off. think it needs a bold colour
