steerer question

just got a pair of manitou 3`s for my bike( at last ) and i`ve got to make a new steerer because i need 1" a-head and its 1.1/8",so my quick question is to save me a few days because i`ve ,,,,,,,1) forgot ,,,,,,,,,and 2) forgot the venier so please what size is in internal diameter and external diameter of a 1" a-head steerer

If it's steel steerers then it's usually 1/8" less.

nah need it in millimeters

is it I/D 22.2?

O/D 25.4?

yeah, 1" is 25.4mm. inner diameter doesnt really matter on ahead steerers, does it? it depends on if it's steel or aluminum, which steel and aluminum etc.
1" quill stems have 22.2mm quills so the threaded steel steerers have a slightly larger ID.

aluminum ahead steerers have a smaller ID but there's no norm for the wall thickness.
